KCAC Offensive Player of the Week: Jose Garay, KANSAS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY, Mid-Fielder, 5-10, Junior, Palmdale, CA. He had 3 goals in two matches of the week: #1 at Friends University (KS), W-1-0, he had 1 goal. #2 vs. University of Saint Mary (KS), W-10-0, he had 2 goals. TEAM MATCHES of week: #1 at McPherson College (KS), W-1-0, he had 5 saves with no shots on goal and no goals allowed in 90 minutes; #2 at Southwestern College (KS), W-3-0, he had 1 save with no shots on goal and no goals allowed in 90 minutes. TEAM RECORDS: Week 2-0-0, Season overall 2-10-0. NOTES: He recorded his first two shutouts of the season, as the Bethel Threshers had their first winning streak of the season.

NOTE BY KHC: Brady Coffman is a worthy candidate to be conference defender of the week. He led his team to its first two victories of the season--both shutouts, one over perennial power McPherson and one over Southwestern. The point of this note is how do you make 1 save in a game and 5 saves in another, without a shot on goal in either game?
